If you have side bangs it would look really cute simply straight.

OR you could keep your bangs straight (putting them to the side of course!) and have the back wavy/curly.

And with any style you decide to do try putting a hair piece that has jewel's in it, whether it be a clip or a pin.

use some ribbon like with the half back or all up and the ribbon with take the attention to that i love ribbons in my hair

also try some bobbi pins to put ur bangs back or like kinda twist some sections back and clip them, you can do alot with short hair by just playing around after you get a shower and trying new things!

I dont usually recommend client especially caucasians to dye it black because if wont style it always have it blowdry or use curling iron it doesnt look good. your color is just good. if you dye it black and you really want it be ready also coz its gonna be a change for you and you will have to adjust to the new haircolor which you are not used to it. you may not like it.

I had longer hair just like everybody else!! You know side bangs.... etc.

Well, I got so sick of blowdrying it, and so I cut it.

I cut it in a bob w/ several layers,, and I can either wear it straight, or use a curling iron,, and put some fun sexy curls in it,, and just take my fingers and mess w/ it.

Soooo easy,, and I have had several compliments. After I cut it,,, I have been noticing how many people have short hair.

It will be to my shoulders in no time,, if I decide to go it back out... Shorter hair grows faster,,, not to mention how much healthier it is now!!!

Go for it,, cut it in a short bob..........it feels so much cooler.

I have very thin hair, and it doesnt grow very often. Ive tried curling it, I have had body perms, they make my hair to curly and frizzy, and when it falls out my hair is even shorter.. Anyone have any ideas for styles for thin hair and how to make it grow.

I had the same problem. The stylist said that we need layers. We are not to have the heaviness on top. I also found if I roll my hair wet and sleep in it....that works for volume. Don't use too much products on your hair like gel, mousse, etc.....It will weigh your hair down. Use a little. Also, after you dry your hair, put it in a ponytail on top of your head like BamBam.....wait 30 min. and let it out....it should be fluffy!! Good luck

After shampooing, bend over and brush it so it's all hanging down. Blowdry on low while brushing. It adds body. I also have the same problem, but usually braid it in a single braid at night. That will give you wave %26amp; thickness the next day.

(perms only work for 1 week for me)get your dead ends cut off every 3 weeks, and don't get your perms... if you REALLY need curly hair use a curling iorn... even though thats not good for your hair either.

The 80's rocked! Well, maybe with the exception of neon colors. There were so many different styles available then, and did you know, the preppy look originated in the 80's? Before then, you were just conservative or hip. The phrase "preppy look" was coined in the early 80's and has stuck for fashionable but conservative style.

My favorite clothing item from the 80's was the jeans. They made you look incredible and you didn't have that little roll thing that often happens with low rider jeans. I miss the real waistline on tight jeans. I'm sure they will come back though, in a few years. The other thing I love from the 80's is big hair. I have the perfect hair for it. rickiejo, I loved the 40's because if you look closely, you'll see amazing stitching and details to the women's clothing. I also liked the colors. Alot of contrasting. Aqua and brown, black and white, etc. I was a kid in the 60's and I wore Neru jackets and paisley was real popular. I didn't appreciate it at the time but now I think it's kinda cool. Hair styles, well I think the 60's because I liked the height and of course the flip with the headband. Also, the boy look like Twiggy wore was very cute for small faces. I've had tailors make me old-style suitts. I did an illustrated book on clothing, so I just show it to my tailors and see if they ccan copy what I want. She often wears 1930's to 1940's hairstyles. here are some suggestions to get wavy/curly hair. i havent tried some of them, but i ve heard that they work-

put some defining product in ur hair and keep twirling it around ur finger. then, finger comb gently through to separate the waves

You might want to try at a local book store. You can find really neat hairstyle mags for cheap and once you buy a few you can keep them for a little while due to trends not changing for a year or two. And some styles are classic!!

I think there's one called hairstyles.com. You do have to pay a subscription, but you can upload a photo of your face, and "try out" the hairstyles you're considering.

As far as perfume, I wore Beautiful by Estee Lauder on my wedding day, and still only wear it for "special" occasions (like anniversaries, etc.) I really like Amazing Grace (by philosophy) and I also like their Falling in Love fragrance. If you're wanting to pick a special scent for your wedding, the best way to do it is to go to a department store, and try no more than 2 at a time--1 on each arm. Don't buy anything that day, let the chemicals and scent develop, and see how you like it an hour or so later. Keep doing this until you find one you like.

try a bluntly cut layered bob with side swept bangs. alteretavley ask your hairdresser for opinions on what would suit you face shape etc. you will need to get quite a bit off it if you want to get rid of split ends!!!

You can type in searchbar 'hairstyles' and see photos of some...but a nice hairstyle is one that suits your face...taking into account the shape of your face,weather it be round,oval,long, square etc...or if you have a short or a long neck and so on. For example,if you have a short neck,dont go for a blunt straight cut,that would make it look even shorter..go more for a tapered cut. If you have a long neck,you can get away with most any style. Ask the hairdresser can you look through their books..if you see a style you like then you can go from that..or change it a little depending on what you want or what might suit you. A splash of colour can really make a differance to a style as well. Good luck.

It depends what you want it for but some styling irons can make curls etc... Curls are in this season but also put your hair in plaits after you washed [and dried] it and leave overnight then comb (DO NOT BRUSH) this gives a nice wavy effect.

If you want it taken up.. A side pony tail, french plait and a flip (pony tail taken up into a clip) are also cool.

I think human hair braids or micro braids are the best. I get them every summer and they last all summer. I get the human hair in 18-20 inches in Italian deep wave or french deep wave. It costs about 70 dollars a bag and you need 2. Make sure the person does them really small and they usually come out like this:

use bobbypins and kiss curl whole head, then spray with hairspray, wake up in the morn,u have a temporary perm until u wash it out

honey bun look...poneytail , then curl over in rubberband

braided look

wide comb look,put aloe vera in hair, use wide comb for wild sleek look

French braid (but to the side, or just bangs to one side - just regular or pigtails looks too young)

A bun or a ponytail with the top pouffed a little, I think they call it bouffant

...and my new fav..use headbands! They are so cute right now and there are a ton of styles out there. And you can use them with basically any style.

-Use a head band

-Ponytail (to update the look try a side pony, or some cute little pins)

-A bun- you can use chopsticks to make it looke really cool

-A braid, both french and regular-

-A twist up (put hair in pony, twist up, and secure with a clip)

-Pigtails (Make them really loose for a less 'little girl' kinda look)

-Take a hair clip and clip back part of your hair on one side

-OR clip up both sides

-Take pigtails and turn them into little spikey buns- stick in some swizzle sticks or little drink umbrellas for that festive look.

-Put the top half or your hair into a ponytail, then put it in another ponytail- while adding the rest of your hair (you can put as many sections as you like!)

-Use a scarf- you can cover up your hair, or just leave a part of it showing

-Use some bobby pins and put up your hair into a messy bun!

-Use some bobby pins, and twist up sections of your hair into a little messy bun, while leaving the bottom half of your hair down.

A lot of these styles are for the "I can look good without really trying" look- Good Luck!

If you are going for a straight look try using pomade or hair glue. It makes your hair stay where you want it to without having to use a curling or straightening iron.

Here is a list of styles...

Straight with pomade (as described above)

French braid

Barrettes pulling up the sides

A head band with clips on it to make twirls

Half pony tail

Multiple pony tails going down to bottom of hair (looks like a french braid but a lot easier)

Use moose or gel to add volume and wear down

Heidi braids (two braids)

Use soft curlers the night before

French twist heald up with claw clip

Well, they ususally take some time and experience to really get them right, so I'd suggest finding some old pics or even new pics with vintage styles...taking the mag pics to your local haircutters and going to your local hair place to see how they do it exactly and then you can go home and do it yourself. My friend got that 1920s curl wave thing in the front of her hair done professionally at a place called the Paul Mitchell school in Costa Mesa for pretty cheap. I do nt' know where you live though.

I think that you should try bangs. Maybe layer your hair around your face to sort of frame it a little bit. If you have a short forehead though, don't do the bangs, just stick with the layers. If you search on www.seventeen.com, they should have a section on the best way to wear your hair for certain face shapes. You'll have to search it in the archives though; I'm not sure exactly where it is.

Dye the hair a deep red, you'd have to get it exactly right to look good though. And wear it down with tousled waves. Curl the eye lashes and use a dark green eyeliner. Use some blush on the cheeks in a very light rose to highlight the pale complexion. I think nude lips with just a bit of gloss on.

Messy bun...Try twisting sections up and back and once you have all of your hair back, put it in a messy bun. It looks really cute. My cousin did that once, and it looked almost like a prom updo, but casual at the same time. It looks really cute, especially when it's kind of high. If you have bangs, it looks really cute down. Part your hair to the side and pin the front of each side back with clips or bobby pins. If you have bangs of any length, leave them out and also part them as well. Looks sweet and cute... Especially cute if you can put waves in your hair and do it, but it's still just as cute without.
