Braids are a beautiful simple style. I have a book called Braids and Bows from Klutz (yes, it sound dorky) and it has awesome braids and other up do's in it. For example, french braid, rope braid, fishtail braid, heidi braid, anne braid.

Messy bun...Try twisting sections up and back and once you have all of your hair back, put it in a messy bun. It looks really cute. My cousin did that once, and it looked almost like a prom updo, but casual at the same time. It looks really cute, especially when it's kind of high. If you have bangs, it looks really cute down. I sometimes do a half braid where its lose at the top and braided at the bottom. A messy but not nasty bun also works

Part your hair to the side and pin the front of each side back with clips or bobby pins. If you have bangs of any length, leave them out and also part them as well. Looks sweet and cute... Especially cute if you can put waves in your hair and do it, but it's still just as cute without.
